These photos represent the beginning stages of a 40" x 30" studio painting being developed from a plein air sketch and photos taken during a recent trip to Door County, WI.

I had chose to develop this plein air sketch into a larger painting because I felt it an interesting and strong composition.  The goal will be to keep the dynamic composition without losing it during the further development of the piece.  My hope is to continue developing this piece with interesting brush work and color.
