"Footprints In the Snow" is a 12" x 9" oil developed in the studio from photos taken at a McHenry County Conservation District site, Pleasant Valley on Pleasant Valley Rd in Woodstock, IL  We are so lucky to have these conservation sites throughout McHenry County and a little group of us have been painting on location at the various sites for quite a few years now.  Each site has its own unique properties and takes funding to maintain the site.  Because I feel very strongly about preserving the open space around us, I have made a personal commitment to donate a percentage of any piece sold that has been developed from a MCCD site.  Each piece has been framed in a high quality gold frame but is also available without the frame.  If you have not had a chance to explore the various sites around you, please do so, we have so much beauty around us and in our backyards!
